hi i'mmoo

Say hay 🌾 ↗

About.

I'm Miranda Badovinac, but my sisters call me Moo. I was born at a very young age and, soon after, developed passions for things including (but mostly limited to) LEGO, soccer, and music. I also quite enjoy building things; this site is one of them.

I studied Life Science at the University of Toronto, then completed a graduate certificate in Business Insights and Analytics at Humber College. Now I'm building this website. It's equal parts portfolio, blog, and pasture. I hope you have an udderly delightful time scrolling. Thanks for being here <3

    I met my co-founder, Liz 🦎, here. Now we're building NERA Swimwear, a bikini brand designed so you don't have to choose between fit and fashion.

    finding my way

    FibreCast

    Working for a small business has been one of the most valuable parts of my professional development. I wore a lot of hats across purchasing, accounting, and operations, learning that in order to be legendairy, you have to be willing to roll up your sleeves.

    soccer = whole personality

    UofT

    Growing up in sport is cool until you retire and lose your whole identity. The transition from playing on a field with teammates to grazing in one solo wasn't seamless, but some mentalities stuck: navigating losses, staying humble after wins, and always striving to be at the top of my game.

A boring PDF version of my actual resume exists. Email me if you want it.

a little exercise

make your own values compass

Pick 4–6 values from the list that resonate. They can reflect what matters most right now, what you want to grow into, or a mix of both. Let them become a compass for the choices you make from here.

& i'd love to hear what you picked! share yours and i share mine? 🤠

a thought i've been pondering

i am not thinking big enough. this summer, i had the privilege of joining NEXT 36 and meeting some of the most brilliant people I've ever seen. one instructor, a global AI leader, challenged us to think up the biggest future we could, then work backward to identify the steps to get there. that idea has really stuck with me. the world will evolve with or without me. if i want to evolve alongside it and create a life and impact that feel meaningful, i need to keep challenging myself to think bigger.

hey im sleepin' here!
